She was predeceased by: her husband William C. Shook; and her parents, John Sweeney and Thelma Sweeney. She is survived by: her children, Diane Tuchfarber (late Bruce), Nancy Tuchfarber (Robert), Christopher Shook (late Nadine), Michael Shook and Kathryn Shook; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Eric, Andrew (Amanda), Billy (Sara), Heather, Hydie, Justin, Alayna, Eva, Kenneth and Alex; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Griffin, Grace, Luke, Kimberlee, William, Michael, Aryanni, Ellyana, James, Katana and Kareem; and her sister-in-law Rosemary "Bowie" Sweeney.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home (4619 Delhi Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238). A Mass was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holy Family Church (814 Hawthorne Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205). A burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Joseph New Cemetery (4500 Foley Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238).
