She is survived by: her husband Mamadou Wade; her children, Anthony Burks (Tammy), Walter Crump (Tameka) and Cindy Crump-Stephens (Alex) of Cincinnati, Ohio.; her friend Booker T. Shorter; her siblings, Roy Burks (Martha), Johnny Burks (Doris), Floyd Burks (Dorothy), Cuthbert of Georgia, Susie Burks-Sy (Abdourahmane), Janie Edwards (James), Lillie (Lucious), Carolyn Lewis (Tommie) and Lula Burks; and her close friend Callie Sherman.

Everyone attending must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
