She is survived by: her siblings, Emahyee Trynesh Yemer, Worku Yemer and Nigist Yemer; her children, Abeba Abera, Mekedes Tadesse and Mahlete Abera; her son-in-law Michael Abate; and her grandchildren, Kaleab Michael, Liya Michael, Ruhama Michael, Nahom Ketema, Sarah Flores and Amelia Flores.
A Mass was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the M. Selam Kidanemihret Ethiopian Orthodox Church (1633 Marlowe Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45224).
