In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara Ann shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara Ann farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her brothers, Gary Powell and Darrell Swinford; and her parents, Henry Swinford (Joyce) and Rose Powell (Ed). She is survived by: her husband Darwin Y.'Pete'Carter Jr.; her sons, Darwin Y.'P. J.' Carter III and Mike Swinford (Samantha); her grandson Austin Gunnyyoung Carter; and her siblings, Nancy Freeman (James), Rose Hollingsworth (Jason), Lori Estep (Steve), Kenneth Powell (Tina), David and Darrin Swinford. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
