He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sebastian Mittermeier and Mary Ann Mittermeier; his siblings, Steven (Mary Anne), Mary Ann (Daryl), Christina (Dean) and Joseph; his wife Teresa Mittermeier; his children, Emily (Jeffery), Michael, Steven (Julie), Bethany (Dominic), Julie (Manuel), Daniel, Regina, Maria and James; his grandchildren, Paul, Iris, Caleb, Emma, Joseph, Matthew, Edith, Evelyn, Tess, Owen and Leo; his brothers, Phillip and Thomas; and his grandchildren, Margaret Mary, Frances, Jace and Aria.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes - Blue Spruce Chapel (4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church (3680 Warsaw Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45205). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Old St. Joseph Cemetery (3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205).
