She was predeceased by: her spouse Otto Schlake; her grandchild Jeremy; and her sibling Joseph Meyer. She is survived by: her children, Joe (Donna), Mike (Milee), Bob (Beate), Carl (Sue), Rick (Lisa) and Elizabeth Schlake; her grandchildren, Zachary, Missy, Tina, Sarah, Mike, Danny, Ben, Alex, Carla, Erik, Steven, Jason and Rebecka; her siblings, Hermina Bretschneider and Damian; and her friend Kolping.
