He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert John and Helen Louise Reed (Shaw); his son Dean Reed; his grandson Robert Reed; and his brother Virgil Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Ginette Reed (Pereira); his children, Rod Reed (Patty) of St. Paris, Becky Reed of Indian Lake and Debbie Hale (Dave) of Troy; and his stepdaughters, Carol Moeller and Cathy Shock of Anna. He is also survived by six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.
