He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Steadman and Bertha B. Fulkerson Steadman; his spouse Trula "Faye" Stidham; his son W. Steven Steadman; and his siblings, Harvey Steadman, Anna Rhea Ryan and Mary Fleenor Carr.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce A. Steadman (Violet) of Chillicothe, Pamela Spurlock (Ronald Bruce) of Chillicothe and Sheila Hopkins (David) of Groveport, OH; and his brother Lynn Steadman (Betty) of Bristol, TN.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
