It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Austin Conaway of Chillicothe, Ohio, born in Ross County, Ohio, who passed away on June 6, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Bryan; his wife Virginia Ann "Ginny" Gillette; his granddaughter Myranda Conaway; his son Steve Conaway; and his siblings, Buck, Bill, Shorty, Glenn Conaway, Betty Manor and Goldie Kunz.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Conaway (Becky), Wayne D. Conaway, Debbie Wiltshire (Dan) of Chillicothe and Beverly Michael (Steve) of Woodstock, GA; his friend Sam Jackson; and his close friends, Neil Uhrig, Marvin Shaw, Joe Weathersbee and Danny Marsh. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
