He is survived by: his wife Rose Ann Keels (Linson); his children, Jacob Keels of Chillicothe, Drew Keels of Columbus, Keisha Keels of Columbus, Martin Keels, Vincent Keels and Sara Keels of Indiana; his grandchildren, Summer Keels, Emmalee Keels, Kendale Kendrick, Vincent Keels, Isaiah Anthony Keels, Callie Kramer, Trey Keels, Steven Snawder and Frederick Snawder; and his siblings, Manda Keels and Jeff Keels. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
