It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera McCorkle of Chillicothe, Ohio, born in Ross County, Ohio, who passed away on June 15, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George K. McCorkle and Marie Knadler McCorkle; her son Michael Seymour; and her siblings, Robert (Bernadine), Melvin, Paul, George Jr. McCorkle, Barbara Moore, Eunice Beach, Virginia Stratton, Violet Sloan and Theresa Frederick.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Seymour (Patty), Kenneth Seymour (Maria), Keith Seymour (Terri) and Carolyn Harrington (Steve); and her daughter-in-law Fahletta Seymour of Chillicothe. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and a great great-grandson and many special family members and friends.
