He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver E. Garrett and Edith Amspaugh Garrett of Amanda, OH.; his uncles, Dan Amspaugh and Don Garrett; his aunt Eileen Miller; and also, Frank and Marguerite Robinette.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Robinette Bauer; his daughter Stephanie McConnell (Luke); his grandchildren, Kenzie, Gabrielle, Liam and Mallory McConnell; his stepson Seth Bauer (Katelyn); his grandchildren, Reed, Chance, Samuel and Wesley Bauer; and his siblings, Mary Ann Garrett and Mark Garrett (Diana). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
