She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mitchell and Elizabeth Mitchell (Menefee); her husband Hobart Patterson Austin, Jr.; and her brother Elvis Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Dominic "Pat" Austin and Elizabeth Jane "EJ" Austin (Humberto Colon); her grandchildren, India Austin, Dominicka Harris (Dante), Donisha Austin, Keipher Scott and Kevin Scott (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Donnell Turner, Nile Continat, Anoke Harris and Kiser Harris; her siblings, William Mitchell (Wanda Hambrick) and Jan Bonnie Mitchell; her nephew William Thomas (Lisa); and her friends, Kevin Scott and Billie Jo Young. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
