He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Sr. Sheets and Norma Jean Hill Sheets; and his children, Jeffrey Sheets and Cheryl Carroll. He is survived by: his children, Jackie Lacy (Bob) of Chillicothe, Amy Matias of Ft. Barre, LA, Robert E. Sheets, III (Jan) of Ratliff City, OK, Wendy Sheets and Tina Gates (Gary) of Krotz Springs, LA; his grandsons, Jason McComis (Holly), Joshua Wood, James Barlage, Jr. (Rachel) and Jacob Carroll (Jessica); his great great grandchild Avery Parrott; his siblings, Samuel Sheets (Melinda) of Chillicothe, Joseph Sheets (Sonya) of Chillicothe and Janet Childers (late Bob) of Chillicothe; and his pet Cody. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025.
