He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel C. Barr and Dorothy Barr (Miller); his sisters, Nancy Johnson, Donna Barr, Anna Maria Coleman and Virginia Barr; and his nephew Anthony "Biff" Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Nina L. Blickens; and his nieces, Tia MacNerland (Richard), Lisa Jones (Tommy) and Carla Harrison (Larry).
