Rita Salyers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 19, 2025, at the age of 85, Rita Salyers of Chillicothe, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Bussey and Jessie Bussey (Jones); and her siblings, Jim, Ranie, Charles, Carl, Betty and Don.
She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Salyers; her children, Mitch Salyers (Becky), Mark Salyers (Carie), Michon Ekvall (Jon) and Matthew Salyers (Jane); her great grandchildren, Courtney (Josh), Megan, Cody, Erica (Jimmy), Carly (Barry), Drake, Chloe, Kylah, Nolan and Mila; her siblings, Eleanor Jadwin (Bussey) and Ted Bussey (Marty); and her sister-in-law Barbara Bussey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the United Freewill Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
