He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Hafner and Rose Hafner (Claytor). He is survived by: his children, Amber Hafner, Jordon Hafner (Alyssa) and Jamie Hafner (Brandy); his siblings, Carla Dennison (Lee), Nancy Broughton (Tony) and Michael Clayton; and his children, Robin Hafner, Melissa Mendenhall and Lashawna Vanhoose. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
