He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn A. Kempton and Betty L. Kempton (Rose); his siblings, Jeffrey A. Kempton, Kimberly Kempton Moore and Pamela Tillett; his niece Lisa Kempton; and his nephew Nathan Birdsall.
He is survived by: his son Scott Kempton (Andrea); his grandson Aiden Kempton; his sister-in-law Diana Kempton Rhodes (Ed); and his nephews, Jason and Jeremy Kempton.
