He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thacker and Mae Nokes Thacker; and his siblings, James Thacker, Roy Thacker and Sandra Claytor.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley J. Malone; his children, Pamela Partee (John "Jack") of Waverly, Jeffrey Thacker (Angela) of Chillicothe and Cathy Zickafoose (Greg) of Richmond, VA; and his brother-in-law Clifford Claytor of Chillicothe. He is also survived by several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren with a great great granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
