Patrick Crisp Obituary
Patrick S. Crisp, 62 of Chillicothe passed away at his home, Monday, March 22, 2021 with his wife of 39 years Sheila, by his side.
He was born November 8, 1958 in Ross County, to the late Sanford and Pauline Cahill Crisp. On February 1, 1982, he married the former Sheila Knox in Chillicothe who survives.
Also surviving are his step-daughter; Michelle Cydrus (Larue), of Chillicothe, sons; Stephen Knox (Amber), of Mount Vernon, Patrick A. Crisp (Kali), of Chillicothe; a daughter; Rea Crisp (Cody Kidwell) of Raeford, North Carolina; grandchildren, Makayla Scott, Malik Scott, Amiya Roland, Stephen, Morgan and Penelope Knox, Ava Gregg, Everleigh Kidwell, Addison, Loralye and on the way Gideon Crisp; sisters, Mary Ellen Young, of Dayton, Frances (Tim) Copper, of Newark and Maureen (Sean) Immell, of Chillicothe; brothers; Sanford (Ellen) Crisp, Tony (Brenda) Crisp, both of Chillicothe and Toby Crisp (Lisa), of FL; a special cousin; Guy (Sue) McCorkle, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews, including Troy Murray who was present to assist Sheila during the time of emergency. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers; Jacob Crisp and John Crisp.
Patrick loved to hunt, fish, garden, woodworking, mushroom hunting and riding horses.
He was a dedicated and baptized Servant of our Creator Jehovah God. Patrick was a husband, son, father, provider, grandfather and a friend to many. He spent his entire life in one way or another in service of others with an incredible determination and a spirit of self-sacrifice worthy of imitation. Pat Crisp was a good man. He will be missed.
Family and friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2021. There will be no funeral services.
