She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Swift and Bertha Ellen Scott (Rutter); her husband Robert W. Barnhart; her son Bryan Jaynes; and her sister Anita Steinbrook.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Jones (Jaynes); her grandchildren, Caitlin Jaynes (Derrick Johnson) and Ethan Jones (Dana); and her great grandchildren, Annabell Jaynes, Hunter Johnson, Addie Dray and Silas Dray.
