She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvia Carpenter (Wachenschwanz) and Rothbe Carpenter; her husband Earl L. Truman, Sr.; her son Gregory A. Truman; her granddaughter Amanda E. Briggs; her great grandchild Nicholas Holzer; her son-in-law Christopher Bare (Clara); and her siblings, Anna Young, Robert Carpenter (Agnes) and Larry Carpenter (Karen).
She is survived by: her children, Earl L. Truman (Cindy) of Vine Grove, Kentucky, Cathy Briggs (Randy) of Myrtle Beach, Ruth Miller (Jon) of Columbus, Ohio, Clara Brown (Michael) of Chillicothe, Ohio and Mark Truman (Jessica) of Logan, Ohio; her brothers, James Carpenter, Herbie Carpenter and Russel Carpenter (Irene); and her sisters-in-law, Jane Barnes and Janet Robb (Paul). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
