It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Barker of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Recobs, Sr.; her son Seth Flannery; her father-in-law Ronald Barker Sr.; and her brothers, James Recobs Jr. and Nolan Recobs.
She is survived by: her mother Dianna Recobs; her husband Shawn Barker, Sr.; her sons, Joshua Flannery (Ashleigh) and Shawn Barker II (Rachel); her grandchildren, Ella, Kinslee and Jackson; her siblings, Deborah Neuberger (Tim), Pamela Mitchell, Tina Carroll (Ronnie) and Charles Recobs; her mother-in-law Donna Barker; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Barker Jr. (Brenda), Anthony Barker (Kristi), Dustin Barker (Jamie), Nina Howard (Mike), Rebecca Zubkoff (Anthony) and Angela Barker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
