It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Dyer of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Woodruff, and Eunice Harrington Woodruff, Sr.; her sons, Michael Detty, Alonzo Detty, Jr., Lonnie and Donnie Detty; and her siblings, Ruth Rhoades, Margaret Miller, Leota Lawhorn, Robert Woodruff, Jr. and John Woodruff.
She is survived by: her children, Scotty Detty of Chillicothe and Kathlena Bixler (Mark) of Chillicothe; and her siblings, Bonnie Hutchison (Michael) of Chillicothe, Linda Hutchison of Chillicothe and Thomas Woodruff of Chillicothe. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
