She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald B. Ellis and Ellen Marie Palmer Ellis; and her mother-in-law Judy Caplinger. She is survived by: her son Matthews C. Hewitt (Sara) of Columbus; her grandchild Obie Hewitt; her sister Kathy Salley of Kingston; her siblings-in-law, Bobbi LeGard (Scott) of Chillicothe, Theresa Damron (Wesley) of Chillicothe, Tinna Hewitt of Dayton, Tammy Wilbanks (Scott) of Londonderry, Thomas Hewitt (Becky) of Chillicothe and Scott Hewitt of Long Beach, CA; her stepfather-in-law Robert Caplinger; and her close friend Kathy Myers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
