With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda J. Saunders of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Gardiner and Thelma Lawhorn Gardiner; her husband James F. Saunders; her son Paul Saunders; and her grandson Chase Guysinger.
She is survived by: her children, James Saunders (Mary) of Chillicothe, Brenda Saunders (Billy Guysinger) of Chillicothe and Brian Saunders of Chillicothe; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Saunders; her grandchildren, Jennifer Cottrill (Dustin) of Londonderry, Dustin Hougland (Reeanna) of Waverly, Briana Osborne of Chillicothe, Josh Barlage (Carrie) of Des Moines, IA and Cortney Demint (Dan) of Chillicothe; her great grandchildren, Tate Cottrill, Trent Lyons, Sam, Charlie Barlage, Holston, Hadsen, Haelyn, Holland Demint and Conner Guysinger; her siblings, George Gardiner (Emma) and Debra Masters; and her sister-in-law Mary Vaughn (Paul). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ware Funeral Home (121 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
