He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Hamler and Margaret Hamler (Schumacher); his former wife Lillian Hamler (Bauer) of Laurelville; and his siblings, Donna Jean Saunders Bell, Jim Hamler and Susie Seufzer.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hamler (Rohrer); his children, Jerry Hamler (Shirley), Jody Beaver (Jim), Jeff Hamler (Debbie) and John Hamler (Tim Parker); his stepson Todd Hammond (Tammy); his grandchildren, Brett Hamler, Alisha Porter (James), Kristen Hamler, Jenny Horn (Trevor), Travis Hamler, Jeff Hamler and Ashley Chaney (Kenny); his brother Bill Hamler (Ruth); and his close friend Mollie. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and fur baby.
