It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Krista Scaggs of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Krista may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Krista touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Herman Scaggs; and her grandparents, John, Ethel Scaggs, Lloyd and Ruby Clary.
She is survived by: her mother Ragene Y. Scaggs (Clary); her brother Michael B. Scaggs; her sister-in-law Rebecca Sparks; her niece Misty N. Hammond-Scaggs (Michael D. Hammond); and her great-niece Mackenzie Grace Scaggs. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and many wonderful friends.
