He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Burton and Jennie Madlin Hart (Estep); and his son Daniel. He is survived by: his daughter Kaydance; his siblings, John William Tatman (Janet), Mark Tatman (Tammy) of Chillicothe, Ohio and Katheryn Marrie Hart of Kingman, Arizona; his nieces and nephews, Mark Tatman Jr., Heather Baylei Conaway (Chris), Lisa Wolfe (Zach), Kaitlin Tatman, Eli Tatman (Maryann), Travis Hughes, Zach Rayburn and Chase Seymour; and his close friends, Bonnie Sams, Christy Dixon, Catherine Black, Jennifer Black, Pam Allen and Tracy Goad.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
