With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine Ferguson of Chillicothe, Ohio, born in Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on August 10, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Harris and Macona Hambrick Harris; her daughter Gail Antoinette Ferguson; her siblings, Howard, William R., Franklin, James, Terry Lee Harris and Phyllis Smith; and her grandsons, Daryl Edwin Ferguson and James Aaron Ferguson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Edwin Ferguson; her daughters, Serena Ann Logan (Gene) of Chillicothe and Mary Jo Peele of Chillicothe; her sister Ometta J. Brown of Chillicothe; and her sisters-in-law, Mary of Las Vegas, NV, Gloria of Las Vegas, NV and Beverly Harris of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth All who attend are encouraged to wear a mask for protection.
