He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Williams and Lexie Williams (Hill); and his siblings, James Williams, Peg Williams and Danny Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Williams (Petzshe); his children, Sonja Williams and John Williams Jr.; his granddaughters, Stacie Bussey and Kimberly Carter; and his great grandchildren, Annaleigh Bussey and Remmington Bussey. He is also survived by family members and friends.
