He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Scherff and Ann-Marie Scherff; his fiancée Penny Miller Smith; and his uncles, Barry Scherff and David Scherff.
He is survived by: his children, Jenny Perdew (Scott), Peggie Arledge (Casey) and Joshua McFadden (Kaitlyn); his grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Cassie, Raylee, Jace, Chloe, Cade and Ace; and his close friends, Mike and Michelle Croft.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Ross County Humane Society in his honor.
