She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis E., Sr. and Lillian J. Cook (Lingrel); her husband Phillip Payne; her son Lonnie L. Payne; her son-in-law Terrell Ross; and her brothers, Alan J. Cook, Lewis Cook, Jr. and Alvin J. Cook II.
She is survived by: her children, Michael A. Payne (Rhonda), Kelley J. Ross of Georgia and E. Kay Cantrell (Herman) of Chillicothe. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
