He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Strausbaugh and Marcella Strausbaugh (Raines). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth A. Strausbaugh (Glycadis); his children, James Strausbaugh (Carlos), Jeff Strausbaugh (Cherrie), Joe Strausbaugh (Debbie) and Jane Dennewitz; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Strausbaugh (Megan), Alisha Strausbaugh, Samantha Dennewitz (Jared French), Keith Dennewitz (Lisa Bastian) and CJ Wright; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Mallory and Morgan; and his siblings, Geraldine, Shirley and Bill.
After a brief stay in the COVID unit at Adena Regional Medical Center, where amazing nurses and staff cared for Jim, the family said their final goodbyes in the early morning on January 18, 2021.
