He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Rosario Mucho Cassel; his siblings, Imogene Marcum of Chillicothe, David Cassel Jr. (Margaret) of Chillicothe, Julia Kempton-Davis of Chillicothe, Dewey Cassel (Linda) of Chillicothe, Joseph Cassel (Velma) of Chillicothe and Vivian McKenzie (Ben) of Jackson; his niece Christy Stacer; his brother-in-law Charles Marcum; and his children, Lucita (David Dixon), Gary (Debi Hickman), Fred (Norma McFann), Shelly Horch and Lasetta Walters.
