With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James R. Barnes of Chillicothe, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on February 20, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Barnes and Patricia A. Barnes (Sparks); and his sisters, Suanne Merriman and Cindy Jo Barnes. He is survived by: his significant other Kathi Fay Barnes; his brothers, Brian N. Barnes of Fort Myers, FL and Barry E. Barnes; his daughter Michelle Lynn Kerns (Kelley) of St. Joseph, MI; his grandsons, Zachery Kerns (Kelli), Kasen and Brennen Kerns; and his great grandchildren, Emmitt and Henry.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Elks #52 (42 W 2nd St, Chillicothe, OH 45601).
