He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Burns and Ruth Burns (Sampson); and his siblings, Betty Conley, Marge Wills, Jeanette Oates, Bill Burns and Bob Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Bryan; his son Jimmy Burns; his stepchildren, Melissa Kyle (Danny) and Dr. Jeff Lee (Diane); his grandchildren, Casey Burns and Levi Burns; his stepgrandchildren, Joey Good (Autumn), Forrest Lee and Annika Lee; his sisters, Denise Ramsey (Harold) of Chillicothe and Bonnie Burns of Chillicothe; his sister-in-law Thelma Burns; and his friend Dave Perkins.
