He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scaggs and Ethel Scaggs (Clark); and his brother Amos Scaggs. He is survived by: his children, Michael B. Scaggs (Becky Sparks) and Krista C. Scaggs; his granddaughter Misty N. Scaggs; his great grandchild Mackenzie Grace Scaggs; his sister Romaine Thornsberry (Mathews) of Beaver, OH.; and also Carolyn Jones.
