It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Elouise Mercer of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Stoneburner and Audrey Stoneburner (Davis); her husbands, Melvin Atwood and Calvin Mercer; and her sisters, Majel Henry and Donna Fouty.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Rick Atwood (Lisa), Tony Atwood (Susie), Edgar Mercer (Phyllis), Calvin "Buck" Mercer (Kari) and Hillary Mercer; her sister Della Henry; her stepchildren, Marcia and Steve; her grandchildren, Michael, Rikki, Audra, Karleigh, Holly, Amber, Ashley, Kasee, Nicholas, Ivy, Stevie and Jason; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Bennett, Emerson, Ali, Richie, Quavie, Karsyn, Bryden, Wyatt, Emilia, Calvin, Lilly, Xayah and Elrik.
