It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerrie Ward of Chillicothe, Ohio, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Griffie and Lona Lott Griffie; her husband Leonard L. Ward; her stepmother Shirley Griffie; and her sisters, Sandy Huffman, Patty Eblin, Joyce Bland and Wanda Taylor.
She is survived by: her son Len; her daughter-in-law Melissa Lynn Ward of Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Megan Ward (Elijah), Ashley Ward and Eli Ward; her great grandchildren, Lynnley and Jaxon; her siblings, Mary Branscom (George), Vickie Cottrill, Tina Abbot, Candy Rupert, Phillip Griffie (Roberta), Wilbur Griffie (Chess), Eddie Griffie (Diane) and Walter; and her pets, Sophie and Fred. She is also survived by in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many cousins and friends.
