It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Doles (Chillicothe, Ohio), born in Vinton, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Doles (Ray) and Jim Doles; and his father-in-law Ralph Detty (Edith). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Doles (Detty); his daughter Bryla L. Elder (Tim); his stepchildren, Kelly J. Stephens (Steve Hill) and Lee W. Stephens, Jr.; his grandchildren, Lee Stephens III, Jacob Stephens, Tylor Stephens (Nicole), McKenzie Doles-Payton and AJ Doles-Payton; his sisters, Barb Edler (Roger) and Donna Doles; his close friends, Leon Cole (Jean), Michael Nicholes (Linda) and Greg Roberts (Kim); and his pets, Ozzy and Jane. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to any Veterans Organization of the donor's choice in his honor.
