With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Elliott (Chillicothe, Ohio), born in Thurston, Ohio, who passed away on May 8, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde W. Carpenter and L. Edith Carpenter (Huston); her husband Charles F. Elliott; her brother Clyde W. Carpenter, Jr.; and her sons-in-law, David Soummers, Sr. and Roger Oney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia A. Soummers, Mary K. Oney, Patricia Elliott Creighton (Steve), Carla M. Brown (Thomas) and Rebecca S. Hitch (Shane); her grandchildren, David Soummers, Jr., Debbie Winstanley (John), Ryan Brown (Sarah), McKenna Brown, Michael Oney, Sean Oney (Susan), Anthony Hitch, Trenton Hitch (Cindy Detty), Tessa Brown, Stephen Creighton (Laura) and Rob Creighton (Cierra); her sister Elsie Jane Ramsey (Ronald); her sister-in-law Myrtle Carpenter of Baltimore, OH; and also Kayla Thatcher. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
The family requests contributions in her memory be made to Heartland Hospice.
