He is survived by: his mother Leola McKinney Hammond of Louisa; his son Nathaniel Hammond (Melissa) of Chillicothe; his grandson Zach Hammond of Chillicothe; and his siblings, Garnett Neukirchner of Frankfort, Pamela Hinton of Frankfort, Kathy Hammond of Frankfort, Danny Hammond (Debbie), Homer Hammond of Chillicothe, William Hammond of Moyock, Jimmie Hammond of Louisa and Jonathan Hammond (Hannah) of Louisa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
