With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eva Hitch of Chillicothe, Ohio, born in Logan, Ohio, who passed away on February 27, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Ralston and Alveena Huffines Ralston; her husband James R. Hitch; her stepparents, Mildred Ralston and Orley Judy; her brother Gerald Ralston (Mary); her stepsister Joanne Hunt (Herman); and her brothers-in-law, Ned Strous and Dean Poling.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Hitch (Julie), Sandy Cox (Doug), Linda Hammond (Mark) and Becky Lee (Bill); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Timberlake (Ryan), Ethan Hitch, Jacob Hitch, Bryon Cox (Heather), Victoria Cox, Caydon Cox, Nathan Hitch, Adam Hammond, Hannah Thatcher (Chase), Trevor Lee and Aron Lee; her great grandchildren, Hadley, Mailey Cox and Evalyn Thatcher; and her siblings, Donna Strous, Elaine Poling and Phil Judy (Wilma). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Springbank United Methodist Church in her honor.
