She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Appleman and Ida Appleman; her former husband Charles Hixon; and her children, Sammy Hixon and Wavalene Hixon.
She is survived by: her daughter Peggy Hixon of Chillicothe; her granddaughter Jessica Hixon of Chillicothe; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Able and Emma Hixon.
