He was predeceased by: his parents, Landon Skaggs and Reba Messer Skaggs; his sons, Kyle R., Kendall R. and Kevin R. Skaggs; and his siblings, Betty Gillum, Cheryl Rucker and Ferris "Buck" Skaggs.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelley Park (Stephen R.) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Katrina Watson (Ray), Stephen Park (Erica), Amanda Hartley (Bruce) and Sydney Cooksey (Josh); his great grandchildren, Ranger, Avery, Emerson Park, Maddisyn and Jaxson Beedy; and his sisters, Linda Basye of Murrells Inlet, Lorrie Skaggs of Murrells Inlet, Sue Montgomery of Waverly and Janet Strawser of Chillicothe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
