With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma L. Oney of Chillicothe, Ohio, born in Ross County, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma L. Oney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Ogden and Mary Ogden (Everetts); her husband Charles C. Oney; and her siblings, Maxine Clark, Gloria Eberle, Douglas and Carl Ogden.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Park (Leslie) of Chillicothe and Josa Hummel of Circleville; her grandchildren, Amanda Bowdle (Chad), Corin Brewer, Michael Hummel (Sabrina) and Carie Chesser (Jason); her great grandchildren, Lillian, Parker Brewer, Olivia, Henry Hummel, Cooper and Palmer Chesser; and her stepgrandchildren, Diane and Carlton Hummel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations be made to one of the local hospice agencies.
