Ray (Chillicothe, Ohio), born in Vinton, Ohio, who passed away on December 26, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ray and Muriel Ray (Truman); his wife Mary M. "Merchie" Kight; and his siblings, Floyd "Bud", Francis, Doris, Eloise, Louise, Inez and Margaret.

He is survived by: his son Marcus; his daughter-in-law Brenda Ray of Ray; his grandsons, Clayton and Brandon Ray; his great grandchildren, Eli and Briar Ray; and his siblings, Bruce Ray (Penny) of Hamden, Lenora "Sue" Jarvis of Chillicothe and Donna Mavis of Chillicothe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I am so sorry to hear of Buck's passing. He was a great man of God. I loved hearing him sing and being in service with him. He was a great blessing to me and many. I was in service with him in Beaver Faith UMC now Faith Christian Church many times and we even performed in a play together. He will be missed”
