Schaffer of Chillicothe, Ohio, born in Ross County, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Trenton H. Schaffer and Lucy Burton Schaffer; his wife Phyllis R. Sommers; his son Henry R. Schaffer; and his sister Georgia Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Hartmus (Jeff) of Chillicothe, Debbie Vaughn (Kenny) of Kingston and Roy Schaffer (Donna) of South Bloomfield; his grandchildren, Shannon Williams, Joel Vaughn (Cheryl), Trenton Schaffer (Courtney) and Dannielle Schaffer; his great grandchildren, Simon Vaughn, Martin Vaughn, Matt Williams, Alex Young, Xavier Detty, Adrianne Kellough and Jacob Schaffer; his brother-in-law Eddie Cook of Londonderry; and his friends, George Lavender, Shirley Dailey, Don and Cathy Houser. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
In an effort to keep from spreading Covid-19, all attendees will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
