He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shoults and Myrtle Shoults (Zickafoose); his wife Beatrice A. Gallaugher; his daughter Veronica; his son-in-law David Bitter; and his daughter Amy L. Shoults.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Shoults (Dona) of Circleville and Jennifer Atwood (Jerry) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Ann Bitter (Dona) of Chillicothe, Tyler Atwood (Venessa) of Chillicothe, Zachary Atwood (Ashley) of Chillicothe, Christa Gloyd (Troy) of Lancaster and Amy Shoults (Roger) of Lancaster; his brothers, Marvin Shoults (Kay) of Chillicothe and David Shoults (Sue) of Chillicothe; his close friend Jimmy Zonner of Chillicothe; and his pet Macy. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
